Simple Oden Delight

Ingredients:

·         200g of daikon radish

·         150g of konjac

·         150g of tofu

·         100g of fish cake

·         500ml of dashi stock

·         2 tablespoons of soy sauce

·         1 teaspoon of mirin

·         1 green onion, chopped


Kitchen Tools Needed:

·         Pot

·         Ladle

·         Knife

·         Cutting Board


Instructions:

·         Slice the daikon radish into thick rounds and cut the konjac into quadrants.

·         In a pot, bring the dashi stock to a gentle simmer.

·         Add the cut daikon and simmer for about 10 minutes until slightly tender.

·         Next, add the konjac, tofu, and fish cake to the pot, and simmer for another 10 minutes.

·         Stir in the soy sauce and mirin, allowing the flavors to meld for about 5 more minutes.

·         Serve the oden hot in a bowl, garnished with chopped green onion.
